Abstract:
A complex of a substrate and an array of acicular crystal formed on the surface of the substrate in which the substrate side and the opposite side of the array can be separated well. The complex (10) comprises a transparent electrode (2) constituting the substrate, and an array (4) of acicular crystal (3) formed thereon. The acicular crystal (3) comprises zinc oxide, for example. The array (4) includes a first region R1 on the transparent electrode (2) side, and a second region R2 on the side opposite to the transparent electrode (2) with respect to the first region R1, wherein the ratio of cross-section of acicular crystal (3) to a plane parallel with the surface of the transparent electrode (2) is lower in the second region R2 than in the first region R1, and the surface of the transparent electrode (2) is substantially covered with the acicular crystal (3) in the first region R1.
