Abstract:
A communication method according to a first aspect is a communication method used in a mobile communication system supporting multicast broadcast service (MBS), the method comprising: a step for setting, by a base station managing a first cell, a multicast radio bearer (MRB) having a point-to-multipoint (PTM) communication path, for user equipment in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state; a step for switching, by the base station, from the PTM communication path to a point-to-point (PTP) communication path, in response to a determination for the handover of the user equipment from the first cell to a second cell; and a step for executing, by the base station, the handover after switching to the PTP communication path.
