Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and apparatus, capable of screening for a ZC sequence for sensing. Further, in a scenario where a Doppler shift exists, the use of the ZC sequence can improve the reliability of a sensing result. The method comprises: a first communication device determines a first radical exponent, generates a first ZC sequence according to the first radical exponent, and sends a first signal, wherein the first signal is generated according to the first ZC sequence. The first radical exponent satisfies a first condition, and the first condition is determined according to the maximum sensing speed of a second communication device, the maximum sensing distance of the second communication device, and an object detection threshold of the second communication device. The second communication device may be a signal receiving party. For example, the first condition comprises: in a cyclic shift range corresponding to the maximum sensing distance, the periodic auto-ambiguity sidelobe of a second ZC sequence is smaller than an object detection threshold, a second radical exponent corresponding to the second ZC sequence is the same as the first radical exponent, or determination of the second radical exponent is related to the first radical exponent.
