Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a classification unit that classifies received frames into a plurality of classes; a queuing unit that buffers the received frames for respective classes; a gate unit that releases/blocks frames; a scheduling unit that determines release/block states, sets a guard band serving as a transmission prohibition time near a gate release state end time, and secures transmission timings for other classes; and a transmission unit that transmits frames that have passed through the gate unit. The scheduling unit sets a guard band width corresponding to the frame maximum length, and controls the release/block state to secure the guard band width.
