Abstract:
This communication cable comprises: a conductor; an insulation layer covering the outer periphery of the conductor; and a magnetic sheath layer covering the outer periphery of the insulation layer. The magnetic sheath layer is formed of a material containing soft magnetic powder and organic polymer. The shape of the soft magnetic powder is flat. The constituent material of the soft magnetic powder is a ferroalloy containing silicon and aluminum. The soft magnetic powder content in the magnetic sheath layer is at least 50 parts by mass and no greater than 800 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the organic polymer.
