Abstract:
A colored image-forming material suited for color-proofing in color printing and a process for forming a transferred image using said material. This material comprises a transparent support (1) coated with a heat-fusible layer (3) and a color-recording layer (4) containing a photo-sensitive composition in that order, in which the heat-fusible layer (3) contains a resin having an alicyclic saturated hydrocarbyl group or the color-recording layer (4) contains a polymer having the units represented by general formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 each represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a carboxyl group, R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group, R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a phenyl group or an aralkyl group, X represents a divalent organic group bound to the nitrogen atom and the carbon atom of an aromatic ring, n represents 0 or 1, and Y represents an optionally substituted phenylene group or an optionally substituted naphthylene group.
