Abstract:
A coated cutting tool provided with a base material and a coating layer formed on the surface of the base material, wherein the coating layer includes at least one α-type aluminum oxide layer, and in the α-type aluminum oxide layer, if the texture coefficient of the (0, 0, 6) plane is TC18 (0, 0, 6) and the texture coefficient of the (0, 0, 12) plane is TC18 (0, 0, 12), TC18 (0, 0, 6) is the largest, and TC18 (0, 0, 12) is the second largest.
