Abstract:
A clutch unit comprises a lever-side clutch section 11 that is provided on the input side and is for controlling the transmission and blocking of rotational torque input by lever operation, and a brake-side clutch section 12 that is provided on the output side and is for transmitting rotational torque from the lever-side clutch section 11 to the output side and blocking rotational torque that is reversely input from the output side. The brake-side clutch section 12 is provided with: a side plate 25, the rotation of which is restricted; an output shaft 22 to which rotation is output; and a friction ring 39 that is installed and fixed on the side plate 25 and imparts rotational resistance to the output shaft 22 by means of sliding torque that is generated by being pressed into the output shaft 22. The material of the friction ring 39 is a glass fiber-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide resin.
