Abstract:
A clutch unit comprises: a lever-side clutch section 11 provided on the input side and controlling the transmission and blocking of rotational torque inputted by lever operation; and a brake-side clutch section 12 which is provided on the output side, transmits to the output side, rotational torque transmitted from the lever-side clutch section 11, and blocks rotational torque reversely applied from the output side. The brake-side clutch section 12 is provided with: a side plate 25, the rotation of which is restrained; a steel output shaft 22 for outputting rotation; and a resin friction ring 39 mounted and affixed to the side plate 25 and applying rotational resistance to the output shaft 22 by means of sliding torque generated by the press-fitting of the friction ring 39 into the output shaft 22. A groove 39d is formed in the outer peripheral surface 39b of the friction ring 39.
