Abstract:
A clutch type expansion brake for a bicycle, comprising a housing (10), a push rod (20), a clutch driving device (30), a support body (40), sliding blocks (50), and a tightening ring (60). The support body (40) is provided with an annular base (41); positioning protruding blocks (42) are provided at one side of the annular base (41); each sliding block (50) is fitted in a mounting portion (45) between two adjacent positioning protruding blocks (42); an annular groove (61) for mounting the tightening ring (60) is provided on the outer side surfaces of the positioning protruding blocks (42) and the sliding blocks (50); the clutch driving device (30) is embedded in an inner cavity formed by the protruding blocks (42) and the sliding blocks (50); the push rod (20) drives the clutch driving device (30) to rotate in the inner cavity of the support body (40); and cylindrical rollers (32) roll along wedge-shaped slope structures (51) on the inner side surfaces of the sliding blocks (50) and eject the sliding blocks (50), and the cylindrical rollers (32) are retracted under the action of the tightening ring (60) to complete the separation from and contact with a hub for braking. The present invention solves the problem that the braking effect and braking stability of existing brakes cannot be balanced and unified due to the size of the gap between the rollers in a mounting groove of a support.
