Abstract:
A clutch for increasing torque and preventing lockup. A first recessed torque edge (30) is provided on a clutch pressure plate (3), so as to correspond to a first protruding torque edge (23) of a clutch member (2), and a second recessed torque edge (31) is further provided on another side of the clutch pressure plate (3), so as to correspond to a second protruding torque edge (53) of a support member (5), such that gear shifting of a vehicle is smooth. At least multiple friction surfaces are created between the clutch pressure plate (3) and the active clutch plate (14). The instant that the clutch switches from acceleration to deceleration, torque instantaneously applied by a clutch housing (1) to the clutch pressure plate (3) causes the first recessed torque edge (30) on the clutch pressure plate (3) to operate in correspondence with the first protruding torque edge (23) on the clutch member (2), and causes a corresponding operation between the second recessed torque edge (31) on the clutch pressure plate (3) and the second protruding torque edge (3) on the support member (5) to be fast and stable, such that a vehicle remains stable during instantaneous acceleration or deceleration.
