A clutch drum assembly manufacturing method. The method is used for manufacturing a clutch drum assembly (1) provided with a clutch drum (2) for transmitting the power of an engine by means of a clutch apparatus and a power transmitting part (3) engaged onto a lateral part (21) of the clutch drum (2).A bulged melting-cladding part (32) is formed on at least one surface of the lateral part (21) and an end face part (31) of the power transmitting part (3) and is in a state of being clamped between the lateral part (21) and the end face part (31). The lateral part (21) and the end face part (31) are used for tightly pressing and welding the bulged melting-cladding part (32) in an electric resistance welding manner by means of electrodes (81 and 82). After that, a welding combination part is formed by the welded bulged melting-cladding part (32), so that the lateral part (21) and the end face part (31) are welded and combined. A low cost is ensured by means of high performance, light weight and reduction of manufacturing processes, and meanwhile, a good combination strength is also ensured.
