Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a clutch connection/disconnection device with which it is possible to switch modes to enable safe travel of a vehicle, even in the event of actuator failure. [Solution] This clutch connection/disconnection device which switches between automatic mode and manual mode comprises: a mode-switching unit which has a housing, and within the housing, a first moving member, a second moving member which moves relatively and integrally with respect to the first moving member, a rotating member which rotates between a restricting position at which the movement of the first moving member is restricted and a permitting position at which the movement of the first moving member is permitted, and an impelling member which impels the first moving member. In automatic mode, the rotating member is positioned at the restricting position, achieving automatic mode, and in manual mode, the rotating member is positioned at the permitting position, achieving manual mode.
