Abstract:
A clutch device (1) has a clutch housing (5), a disk-like rotating body (3), a clutch
section (6), a pressure plate (7), a lever plate (8), centrifugal members (9),
and a release mechanism (4). The clutch housing (5) is rotatably supported by
a second shaft (2) on the output side and receives a power input from a first shaft
(31) on the engine side. The rotating body (3) is connected to the second shaft
(2). The clutch section (6) has plates (6) for transmission and interruption
of power between the clutch housing (5) and the rotating body. The pressure plate
(7) causes the plates of the clutch section (6) to press each other. The lever plate
(8) is in contact with the pressure plate (7) and has levers (8e). The centrifugal
members (9) are installed on the levers (8e) of the lever plate (8) and press the
lever plate (8) against the pressure plate (7) by centrifugal force. The release
mechanism (4) releases the pressing of the lever plate (8) against the pressure
plate (7).
