Abstract:
Disclosed is a mechanical connection apparatus, particularly a clutch-brake apparatus, comprising an actuating disc (10), a brake disc (30), a shaft sleeve (41), a friction disc (50), a main engagement body (60), an intermediate disc (70), and a cutter holder disc (80). The connection and disconnection between the main engagement body (60) and a flange (45) of the shaft sleeve is achieved by the cooperative motion between the intermediate disc (70) and the adjacent main engagement body (60) and cutter holder disc (80). The clutch-brake apparatus is applicable to the connection between an engine and a grass cutting blade of a mower or other applications, has a reliable performance and strong load capability, and operates stably and durably.
