Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technology which simplifies a structure of a clutch actuator and allows connection and release operations of two clutches to mechanically cross each other, so as to enhance operation responsiveness and prevent an interlock phenomenon. The present invention introduces a clutch actuator for a dual clutch transmission (DCT), which comprises: a motor for providing a rotation force; an actuation rod having a piston fixed thereto and moving in a linear direction by the rotation force provided from the motor; and a chamber for selectively providing oil received therein to a first clutch or a second clutch by the piston according to a movement direction of the actuation rod, so as to generate and remove a working fluid pressure to the two clutches in a crossed manner.
