Abstract:
A clothes treatment apparatus is disclosed. The disclosed clothes treatment apparatus comprises: a housing; a tub positioned inside the housing; a drum that can rotate inside the tub; a dehydration shaft connected to the drum; a motor assembly including a rotatable rotor; a coupler that can move between a first position, at which the coupler is coupled to the rotor and the dehydration shaft, and a second position at which the coupler is decoupled from the rotor; a first element positioned to be adjacent to the dehydration shaft; and a second element which is positioned on the inner side of the rotor, and which can interact with the first element such that the coupler moves from the second position to the first position, wherein, if the coupler moves from the second position to the first position, the second element is separated from the first element in the direction in which the coupler moves.
