Abstract:
A method for bringing at least two types of liquid into contact, said method involving continuously supplying a homogeneous or heterogeneous liquid comprising at least two types of liquids via a supply flow passage to a tubular container comprising a circulation flow passage having a micro-sized or millimeter-sized inner diameter, circulating the supplied liquid through the circulation flow passage, and continuously extracting the circulated liquid from the tubular container via a discharge flow passage, wherein: the flow rate (cm3/minute) of the liquid supplied to the tubular container is 0.01 to 500; the flow rate (m3/second) of the liquid circulated through the circulation flow passage is calculated by Re × ν × A/DH, where Re is at least 1000, ν is the kinematic viscosity coefficient (m2/second) of the circulating liquid, A is the area (m2) of a cross-section of the circulation flow passage, DH is the hydraulic diameter and is calculated by 4 × A/P, where P is the circumference (m) of a cross-section of the circulation passage.
