Title:
CERAMIC SPHERICAL BODIES AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR CERAMIC SPHERICAL BODIES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/070689
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing ceramic spherical bodies that are not readily damaged when pulverization and dispersion are performed under high-temperature conditions of a liquid temperature of 60°C or higher. The present invention is ceramic spherical bodies that include zirconia as a principal component. The ceramic spherical bodies contain 3.5–8.0 mol% of CaO, have an average particle diameter of 0.01–0.3 mm, have a relative density of at least 99%, and have a monoclinic crystal fraction of no more than 1 vol% as measured by powder x-ray diffraction.
