Abstract:
The present invention provides a ceramic electronic component which is capable of maintaining the sinterability of an identification mark high relative to an element. A ceramic electronic component according to the present invention comprises: an element that is mainly composed of a ceramic; and an identification mark that is formed on a main surface of the element. The element comprises: a first layer which contains a celsian that contains barium and silicon; and a second layer which is interposed between the identification mark and the first layer, and contains the celsian at a lower ratio than the first layer.
