Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communications. Provided are a cell handover method, a terminal, a base station, a communication system and a storage medium. The cell handover method comprises: receiving first indication information sent by a base station, wherein the first indication information comprises one or more of the following information: candidate target cell information, there being one or more candidate target cells, and layer-1 measurement-related configurations; according to the layer-1 measurement-related configurations, executing layer-1 measurement on the candidate target cells, and reporting a measurement result to the base station; receiving second indication information sent by the base station by means of layer-1 or layer-2 signaling, wherein the second indication information comprises target cell information; and according to the target cell information indicated by the second indication information, initiating access to a corresponding target cell. Therefore, the handover signaling processing delay and signaling overheads are effectively reduced.
