Abstract:
A catalyst structure formed by layering a plurality of mesh catalyst elements, each of which is formed by including an expanded metal and a catalyst layer attached to the expanded metal so as not to cover the expanded metal openings, so that at least one of the plurality of bonded sections present in one mesh catalyst element is in contact with another adjacent mesh catalyst element to support the same and a prescribed gap is maintained between each mesh catalyst element.
