Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to clarify moisture absorption characteristics of a catalyst for acrylic acid production, ascertain a relationship between moisture content in the catalyst and performance as a catalyst for acrylic acid production, and provide an excellent catalyst. Provided is a catalyst for acrylic acid production, which contains molybdenum and vanadium as essential active ingredients and in which the quantity of moisture contained in the catalyst is 0.01-0.53 mass%.
