Abstract:
The present invention provides a care bed capable of suppressing/preventing lower back pain in a caregiver during care work. A care bed (100) has a frame (8) having wheels (8W), and a bed part (1) and an elevating machine (5) installed in the frame (8). A bed body (2) as a core of the bed part (1) has four wheels (3) installed on a back surface (2RS) facing a floor surface (FS). The elevating machine (5) causes the bed body (2) to move downward along a second direction (D2) in response to a command from a remote control (6) until the wheels (3) of the bed body (2) positioned above the floor surface (FS) loosely fit into groove parts (7R) of two rails (7) installed on the floor surface (FS) and come in contact with the floor surface (FS). The bed part (1) is then slid along the floor surface (FS) to the outside of the care bed (100). Alternatively, the elevating machine (5) causes the bed body (2) to move upward above the floor surface (FS) along the second direction (D2), in response to a command from the remote control (6).
