The present invention prevents a decrease in connection reliability.　A card edge connector (C) is provided with a housing (10) having a board housing space (20), and a connection terminal (30) having an elastic contact piece (36) that comes into contact with a circuit board (71) inserted in the board housing space (20). The connection terminal (30) attached to the housing (10) is movable between a connection position at which the elastic contact piece (36) is brought into contact with the surface of the circuit board (71) inserted in the board housing space (20) and a retreat position at which the elastic contact piece (36) is separated from the circuit board (71). A first interference prevention part (62) and a second interference prevention part (63) are formed between a movement path of the elastic contact piece (36) and the board housing space (20), and the first interference prevention part (62) and the second interference prevention part (63) restrict interference between the elastic contact piece (36) and an insertion end part (72) of the circuit board (71) inserted in the board housing space (20) in the process of movement of the connection terminal (30).
