Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbon material with which high conductivity and durability can be achieved along with compressive flexibility, as well as an electrical storage device that has said carbon material contained inside an electrode. The present invention provides a carbon material that has a bulk elastic modulus K of 2 GPa or less and an average graphene lattice size L of 50 nm or greater. The present invention also provides a positive electrode (212) for an electrical storage device and a negative electrode (214) for an electrical storage device, wherein said carbon material is used as a conductivity aid, as well as an electrical storage device (200) that is provided with a positive electrode and/or a negative electrode including said carbon material as a conductivity aid.
