Abstract:
The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide capture and carbon resource conversion system for coal-fired power generation and, more specifically, allows carbon dioxide in exhaust gas to be captured and converted into a carbon resource by using a basic alkali mixture solution, and thus can reduce carbon dioxide while solving the problems of low process operation efficiency and economic feasibility and, simultaneously, prepare sodium carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate by using the captured carbon dioxide. In addition, the present invention uses sodium carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate, which is prepared from the captured carbon dioxide, as a desulfurizing agent for capturing sulfur oxide in the exhaust gas discharged from a coal-fired power station, so as to capture carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide at the same time by means of a simple system, and thus the provision of additional flue gas desulfurization equipment is unnecessary. Therefore, the space in which desulfurization equipment for removing pollutants, which are contained in the gas flowing into carbon dioxide capture equipment, is provided is minimized and process costs can be reduced.
