Abstract:
Provided is a cap for a movement guide device, with which the generation of burrs can be suppressed and a fixing force of the cap to a guide rail can be increased. This cap (21) is for blocking a fastening member insertion hole (5) of a guide rail (1) of the movement guide device. The cap (21) comprises: a disc-shaped top surface part (22); a cylindrical side surface part (23) which hangs down from the top surface part (22); and a plurality of projections (24) provided on an outer peripheral surface (23a) of the side surface part (23). The plurality of projections (24) are spaced apart in the circumferential direction along the outer peripheral surface (23a) of the side surface part (23), and are present at an upper edge section of the outer peripheral surface (23a) or are present from the upper edge section to an intermediate section in the axial direction. A thickness (D) of the side surface part (23) between the projections (24) is less than a thickness (B) of the top surface part (22).
