Abstract:
A cage valve having a cage (7) and a valve plug (15). The cage (7) is fixed inside
one chamber partitioned by a partition wall (2) partitioning the inside of a valve
body into the upstream side and the downstream side and has flow rate control windows
(13) in its peripheral wall. The valve plug (15) slides in the cage (7) to open and
close the flow rate control windows (13) of the cage (7). A characteristic section
(31) for a flow rate at a low opening degree is provided in a lower end circumferential
surface of the cage (7), and the characteristic section has a gap between itself
and the cage inner wall. The cage valve is small sized and has excellent ability
capable of coping with a wide flow rate range from high to low.
