Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cable device that, with a simple structure, can prevent water that has entered inside a drum case from infiltrating between the outer cable and the inner wire of each Bowden cable. [Solution] A case half body C1 of a drum case has a case body portion C1a covering a rotating drum 12, a curved portion C1b continuing therefrom, and a tip portion C1c continuing therefrom and integrally embedding a straight terminal portion Oe of an outer cable O of a Bowden cable. A wire guide G1 through which an inner wire I is movably inserted is embedded inside the curved portion. An elastic seal member S1 that extends in the longitudinal direction of an inner passage G1a and has a through-hole S1a through which the inner wire is inserted in a close contact state is attached to the side of the wire guide at the tip portion of the case half body such that one end S1b in the longitudinal direction is fitted into an end face of the wire guide and the other end S1c in the longitudinal direction protruding from the end face abuts the tip portion.
