Abstract:
This butterfly valve (11) comprises: a valve main body (13) of which at least the surface is formed from a resin material and in which an internal flow path is formed; a valve shaft (15) rotatably supported by the valve main body; a valve body (19) that is connected to the valve shaft, rotatably supported by the valve main body, and positioned inside the internal flow path; and a bush (21) externally fitted over the valve shaft. The valve main body is provided with bearing holes (25, 27) that rotatably support the valve shaft (15) via the bush (21). The bearing holes (25, 27) have open parts that open into the internal flow path. The bearing holes (25, 27) and the bush (21) have shapes such that, in regions adjacent to the open parts, gaps are formed between the inner peripheral surfaces of the bearing holes (25, 27) and the outer peripheral surface of the bush (21).
