Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a brush molded body which has a gentle touch feeling, and with which it is possible to improve the feel during use and the external appearance of a toothbrush. This brush molded body includes a head base portion formed from a soft resin, and a plurality of filaments which project from a supporting surface positioned on the front side in the thickness direction of the head base portion. The head base portion has an engaging hole which extends in a length direction perpendicular to the thickness direction and which opens on one side in the length direction. The brush molded body is provided with: a premolded body, at least a portion of which is molded using a first resin composition, and which comprises a filament group including at least a portion of the plurality of filaments, and a supporting base portion that supports a base portion of the filament group and that is positioned on the front side of the engaging hole to form a portion of the head base portion; and a base main body molded body which includes part of the head base portion and the plurality of filaments other than the premolded body, and which is molded using a second resin composition different from the first resin composition. The premolded body and the base main body molded body are molded bodies that are molded integrally.
