Abstract:
This brake for a vehicle is provided with, for example: a backing plate having a first surface which faces a first direction parallel to the center of rotation of a wheel; a braking member that is movably provided along the first surface and brakes the wheel; a first support member provided in a state of protruding in the first direction from the first surface; an urging member that is supported by the first support member and urges the braking member toward the first surface; and a second support member that is mounted to the backing plate and has an elastic element that swingably supports the first support member.
