Abstract:
Disclosed is a brake pad comprising: at least one friction member; friction material plates which are formed in number corresponding to the number of the friction members and which support the friction members joined to the upper surfaces thereof; a base plate positioned below the friction material plates; a backing plate positioned to be spaced from the bottom surface of the base plate; an elastic member positioned between the bottom surface of the center of the base plate and the upper surface of the backing plate to elastically support the base plate; a center rivet for coupling the friction material plates to the backing plate so that the central separated height between the base plate and the backing plate is maintained by means of the elasticity of the elastic member; and a peripheral rivet for coupling the base plate to the backing plate so that the peripheral separated height between the base plate and the backing plate is maintained, wherein the friction material plate includes a plurality of friction plate radiating wings, which are extended in the outward direction from the outer peripheral surface of the friction material plate and are formed in the circumferential direction of the friction material plate.
