Abstract:
Disclosed are a brake and a motor device using same, relating to the field of braking, with the main purpose of solving the technical problem of existing brakes having a high number of parts, rendering the assembly complicated. The main technical solution used is: a brake, comprising a stator (1), a coil (2), an armature (3), a friction piece (5) and a connector (6); the friction piece (5) is provided with a first surface (51) and a second surface (52) which face away from each other; the first surface (51) faces the armature (3) and is used for braking in cooperation with the armature (3); the connector (6) is provided with a connecting portion (61) which is used to be connected to an external rotary shaft; and the connector (6) is connected to the friction piece (5), applies an abutting action force to the second surface (52) of the friction piece (5) during braking, and is driven to drive the friction piece (5) to rotate along with the friction piece. Using the described technical solution, at least one component is omitted, and in turn the assembly of at least one component is omitted, and thus the brake is easy to assemble.
