Abstract:
A brake mechanism, a brake mechanism used for a robot joint, a method therefor, and a robot joint. The brake mechanism comprises: an electroceramic stack (3), at least one end thereof being provided with a working end surface (31); and at least one sliding brake actuator (4), comprising: a force end (41), which may abut against one working end surface (31) of the electroceramic stack (3), and a brake end (42), which may abut against one brake surface (11) of a braked component (1). The electroceramic stack (3) may expand along the length direction thereof and push the force end (41) of the sliding brake actuator (4). The brake mechanism may improve the torque rigidity of a joint drive system.
