Abstract:
This brake lining is provided with a contact surface coming into contact with and separating from a rotating body. The lining is provided with a groove or a through-hole serving as a discharge passage. The discharge passage has an opening formed in the contact surface. The inner surface of the discharge passage has higher wettability than the contact surface.
