Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a brake hose joint assembly configured so that an eye joint, an eye bolt, and a washer can be combined and so that, even if such parts are transported in the combined state, damage to the washer can be prevented.
[Solution] A brake hose joint assembly 1 is provided with: an eye joint 2 having a hose connection section 21 and an annular section 23; an eye bolt 3 passed through the opening 23a of the annular section 23 of the eye joint 2 and having therein a flow passage in communication with a brake hose through the hose connection section 21; a washer 5 mounted on the side of the annular section 23 of the eye joint 2, which faces the threaded section 34 of the eye bolt 3; and a cap 6 mounted to the threaded section 34 of the eye bolt 3 and maintaining the eye joint 2, the eye bolt 3, and the washer 5 in an assembled state. The cap 6 has an annular section 61 which has a slit 61a in a part thereof, is fitted to the threaded section 34 of the eye bolt 3, and is brought into contact with a surface 5a of the washer 5 to protect the surface 5a, the surface 5a being located on the side opposite the annular section 23 of the eye joint 2.
