Abstract:

A battery frame (10) has an upper panel (18) made of a carbon fiber reinforced resin and a first reinforcement (14) made of a steel sheet. The head (44) of a rivet (40) is disposed on the upper panel (18) side, and the head (44) thereof is configured so as to have a diameter larger than that of the caulking part (46) of the rivet (40). Thus, the contact area between the rivet (40) and the upper panel (18) can be enlarged in comparison with a case wherein the caulking part (46) is disposed on the upper panel (18) side. In the upper panel (18), therefore, the edge region surrounding a first coupling hole (34) can be supported by the head (44) of the rivet (40) with a large support area. In the upper panel (18), as a result, the edge region surrounding the first coupling hole (34) is inhibited from breaking and so on.
