Abstract:
A bolt-nut mechanism which, in installing a steering member on a vehicle body frame, provides a method of absorbing a clearance and stabilizes a drive force of a left-hand thread bolt, and where costs of constituting members are reduced. A bolt-nut mechanism is constituted of three members that are a right-hand thread bolt (4) in which a lock mechanism (7) working based on metallic contact is provided on the thread portion, a left-hand thread bolt (5) having a female screw (8) in its inner diameter portion and fitted on the right-hand thread bolt, and a fixation nut (6) fitted on a left-hand thread (9) of the left-hand thread bolt (5) or a member (14) on which a female screw is formed. A lock mechanism (7) of the bolt (4) causes the left-hand thread bolt (5) to be driven and landed such that the distance between an inner panel (2) and the top surface (13) of the left-hand thread bolt is narrowed, and as a result the clearance between a body frame and a steering member bracket (3) is absorbed. When the installation work is further continued, the bolt (4) is screwed into the left-hand thread bolt (5) and a bolt seat surface (11) is seated on an outer panel (1) to produce a tightening force. The tightening force is transmitted through the left-handed thread bolt (5) and the steering member is attached. Alternatively, a female screw (15) into which the left-handed thread bolt is fitted can be provided in the steering member bracket (14).
