Abstract:
This boiler 10 is provided with: a combustion container 11 that forms a combustion chamber 24; a first burner 12 that combusts a fuel in the combustion chamber 24; and a second burner 13 that combusts the fuel in the combustion chamber 24, the second burner 13 having a lesser capacity than does the first burner 12. According to this configuration, it is possible to generate high-pressure steam by combustion in which the high-capacity first burner 12 is used and also to generate low-pressure steam by combustion in which the low-capacity second burner 13 is used by means of a single boiler 10. Therefore, the need to install a plurality of boilers is obviated. In addition, it is possible to perform a warm-up operation of the boiler 10 using the second burner 13, which has a low capacity relative to that of the first burner 12. Therefore, the need to perform a warm-up operation in which the high-capacity first burner 12 is used is obviated.
