Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable a boil-off gas to be processed while simultaneously utilizing energy of the boil-off gas. Provided is a boiler that is supplied with a boil-off gas generated in an LNG tank which stores an LNG, wherein the boiler comprises a burner (23) that burns the boil-off gas. The burner (23) includes: a continuous discharge-type igniter (56); and an intermittent discharge-type igniter (43) having a higher spark frequency during ignition than the continuous discharge-type igniter. The intermittent discharge-type igniter (43) is used when processing the boil-off gas in the boiler.
