Provided are two blue light blocking contact lenses, which are formed by curing different compositions. The first composition comprises: a blue light blocking component formed by a first hydrophilic monomer and a yellow dye mixed or reacting with each other, a first colored dye component formed by a second hydrophilic monomer and a first colored dye mixed or reacting with each other, at least one third hydrophilic monomer, a cross-linking agent and an initiator. The first colored dye comprises a green dye, a cyan dye, a blue dye, an orange dye, a red dye, a black dye, or a combination thereof. The second composition comprises a blue light blocking component, at least one hydrophilic monomer, a cross-linking agent, and an initiator, the blue light blocking component being formed by glycerol monomethacrylate and a yellow dye mixed or reacting with each other. In addition, a preparation method for the contact lenses is provided. Since the solubility and compatibility of the dyes in the compositions are improved, the contact lenses can exhibit good blue light resistance and color rendering.
