Abstract:
Provided is a biogas generation system in which a digestive liquid can be inhibited from occurring, that is capable of removing ammonia inside organic matter irrespective of the freshness of the organic matter and efficiently performing methane fermentation, and that further has energy-saving properties and excellent environmental friendliness. The present invention comprises: a tightly sealed container 2 that contains organic matter; a stirring device 3 that stirs the organic matter contained in the tightly sealed container 2; a gas-fired boiler 4 that heats the inside of the tightly sealed container 2 to a predetermined temperature; a vacuum pump 5 that reduces the pressure inside the tightly sealed container 2; and a reservoir tank 6 that retains a biogas generated by subjecting the organic matter to methane fermentation in the tightly sealed container 2. A portion of the biogas retained in the reservoir tank 6 is supplied as a fuel to the gas-fired boiler 4.
