Abstract:
The present invention relates to a crimped biodegradable nonwoven fabric that includes 50 wt% or more of poly-(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoate)-based staple fibers that have a fiber length of 11-160 mm. The biodegradable nonwoven fabric has a water absorption rate of 100% or less, and after being caused to absorb 200 parts by weight of water with respect to 100 parts by weight of the biodegradable nonwoven fabric, the time required for complete drying in a 50°C oven following dehydration for 30 minutes in a dehydrator is preferably 20 minutes or less.
