Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of linear driving of soft robots, and in particular to, a bidirectional linear fast-response spiral winding type pneumatic artificial muscle based on a braided tube. According to the present invention, the output of force and displacement is achieved using the characteristic that the mechanical properties of a spiral braided tube change with internal expansion. Since the application direction of a load affects the expansion direction of the braided tube, when the direction of the load is different, the output directions of the force and displacement are also different, thereby achieving bidirectional driving. Compared with other pneumatic artificial muscles, the pneumatic artificial muscle in the present invention is smaller in air cavity volume and higher in inflation and deflation speed, and the pneumatic artificial muscle reduces the driving air pressure and increases the shrinkage rate while maintaining the high mass ratio and power ratio of conventional pneumatic artificial muscles , and has a high response speed.
