Abstract:
Provided is a bending structure which can relax a load exerted on a core material to inhibit abnormalities of a bending action when an urging force is applied to the bending structure. This bending structure comprises: a flexible core material 17 that allows bending against a compression force in the axial direction; an elastic member 19 that is positioned in parallel to the core material 17 and can compress in the axial direction; a base portion 3 that receives one side of the core material 17 and the elastic member 19 in the axial direction; and a mobile portion 5 that receives the other side of the core material 17 and the elastic member 19 in the axial direction, wherein, in a state in which the elastic member 19 is not compressed by the base portion 3 and the mobile portion 5, the core material 17 has a length in the axial direction that is shorter than the length in the axial direction between the base portion 3 and mobile portion 5 receiving sections 3b and 5b, and the elastic member 19 receives a load in the axial direction corresponding to the spacing between the base portion 3 and the mobile portion 5 and is compressed, and applies an urging force.
