The present invention comprises a series of steps for bending a workpiece (W) at a desired bend angle. The bending involves pressing a workpiece (W) with an upper mold (8) mounted on an upper table (7) of a press brake (1) and a lower mold (6) mounted on a lower table (5) to bend the workpiece (W). The bending is repeated from a first step through an Nth step while the workpiece (W) is being fed at a predetermined pitch, so that the workpiece (W) is bent at N bending positions. The series of steps includes: a measuring step for measuring the bend angle of the workpiece (W) when the Mth step is ended; and a calculation step for correcting a table output on the basis of a measurement value of the bend angle of the workpiece (W) measured in the measuring step and a target value of the bend angle of the workpiece (W) when the Mth step is ended. If the table output is corrected, the bending is restarted by returning to a previous step before the Mth step on the basis of the corrected table output.
