The purpose of the present invention is to provide a belt-type stepless transmission in which a belt passed over a pair of pulleys is prevented from slipping. A belt-type stepless transmission is provided with: a hydraulic actuator which, in order to change a pulley groove formed between a stationary sheave and a movable sheave, is provided with a hydraulic chamber provided on the back face side of the movable sheave; and a torque cam mechanism which generates propulsion force by converting a load in the rotational direction into an axial load by the relative rotation between an axially facing pair of cam members. A piston which is provided so as to be rotatable and axially reciprocatable relative to the movable sheave is integrated with one of the cam members and is configured so as to increase hydraulic pressure within the hydraulic chamber by moving toward the movable sheave. The cam member on the drive side is axially affixed relative to a driven shaft and rotates together with the driven shaft. The piston is integrated with the driven-side cam member and is integrated with an output gear for outputting torque which is increased or decreased by the pair of pulleys.
