Abstract:

A belt type stepless transmission provided with: an input pulley (60); an output pulley (100); a belt (140) passed around the pulleys; a hydraulic cylinder (70) provided to the input pulley (60); and a hydraulic servo mechanism (80) for controlling the operation of the hydraulic cylinder (70). The hydraulic servo mechanism (80) is provided with: a valve chamber (81a) disposed at a position facing an input-side movable sheave (63); a servo spool (83) housed in the valve chamber (81a) so that the servo spool (83) can slide and selecting an oil path to be communicated with the hydraulic chamber (76) of the hydraulic cylinder (70); and a feedback spool (84) having one end disposed so as to be in contact with the input-side movable sheave (63) through a bearing (72), etc. and selecting the oil path so that the sliding position of the input-side movable sheave (63) is retained at a position corresponding to the sliding position of the servo spool (83).
